On October 28, 2019 at 0939 Reva Vol Fire & Rescue was assisted by Little Fork Vol Fire & Rescue, Technical Large Animal Rescue Team; City of Fredericksburg Fire Department, Confined Space Rescue Team; Culpeper County EMS and Culpeper County Sheriff’s Office along with Animal Control. With a report of a dog that had fallen into an abandon well. It was also reported the family pet had been missing since the day before.

Capt. J J Gavin took command and determined it was going to be a recovery operation. At approximately 1300 the Confined Space Rescue Team completed the recovery.
