WE NEED YOU!
Reva is always looking for people who are interested in helping their community in a variety of ways. We need people who are willing to learn to be firefighters and emts or drive the vehicles but we also need people to help with fundraising and office tasks. So no matter what your skill - we can use you!
We have three types of membership statuses - Active, Support, and Junior. Here is a summary of each status.
Active members - This category is for people who want to participate in emergency services activities. You do not have to have any training join. We will provide all training. But, members must become certified or enrolled in a firefighter or EMT class or have obtained their Emergency Vehicle Operators certification within one year of joining the department. Members in this category are required to provide 24 hours of service a month. This can be split any way that the member chooses. Ex - 6 hours once a week, 12 hours twice a month, 24 hours at once.
Support members - This category is for people who want to help the community by supporting the department but do not want to particiapte in emergency service activities. These members provide nearly one-third of our annual income through bingo on Tuesday nights and other fundraising events. These members are requried to contribute 60 hours per year and can split the hours anyway the member chooses. Members in this category also can contribute their office, accounting and computer talents.
Junior members - Junior membership is for teenagers who are interested in gaining valuable career skills and certifications or who want to support their community. Junior membership starts at age 14. More information on our junior program can be found here.
